Job Description

Able to work autonomously on a customer site; can propose solutions from scratch; uses own broad experience to suggest best solutions and highlight wider program risks; high-end technical leadership.

Development Leads can understand, in a broad sense, the technical landscape of any IT project they’re involved with. They should be able to comprehend the business context, constraints, and goals of the solution and use their experience to formulate the best solution and approach to development, including the selection of technology, techniques, and design approaches. They should be able to support the project manager in creating a plan that reflects a sensible approach to delivering the software from a technical perspective. They should be able to articulate this vision to both technical and non-technical business representatives and work directly with the customer, by themselves, to define the solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, estimates, and implements technical solutions for medium/high complexity applications.
  • Participates actively in all phases of application development lifecycle.
  • Collaborates with various project stakeholders to provide support for clarifying requirements, processes, architecture, and priorities.
  • Recommends and promotes IT industry standards, tools, practices (DevOps, etc.) to achieve well-engineered software products.
  • Proposes improvements and escalates risks/issues related to development activities.
  • Participates in the review of the work done by development team members.
  • Learns and applies new technologies, practices, and tools as appropriate to the project.
  • Participates in internal and external tech communities, events.
  • Shares experience and knowledge gained from projects.
  • Has responsibility for the work of others and for allocating resources.
  • Influences the team, customers, and suppliers.
  • Makes decisions which influence the success of projects and team objectives.
  • Can propose solutions autonomously.
  • Can articulate solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualification & Experience

  • 7+ Year of Experience
  • Coding at high quality applying Clean Code, Design Patterns and SOLID principles.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and culture
  • Agile SCRUM/KANBAN experience
  • Spring (Core, Boot, Web, Data, AOP, Transaction Management)
  • Persistence tools and ORM (Hibernate, Querydsl, Spring JDBC template)
  • HTTP protocol, web services and best practices
  • Data Management tools (Relational/nonRelational/inMemory DBs, Message Brokers)
  • Dynamic infrastructure tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Service Provide)
  • Experience with leading a development team
  • Good English communication skills
